Dear Alfred:
Thank you for your letter of recent date which I have delayed answering owing to the fact that I have been out of town for a good part of the time since its arrival.
I am just writing Helen suggesting that it will probably be well for both of you to come to Andover for a day. at least, at the beginning of your Christmas vacation. That will give us a chance to talk over your further plans which I hope we can arrange in such a way to include the trip to New York which you and Helen both desire so much.
