I now have the pleasure to advise that I have, through the courtesy of The Chinese Associated Trading Co., Ltd. forwarded, to you per s.s. “Deuoalion" three packages consisting of 2 long chairs and 4 arm chairs and would be very pleased if you will kindly make arrangement for taking delivery of same at Boston on arrival of steamer*
Upon receipt, will you oblige me by sending one long chair and two arm chairs to Miss. Clemens, your Secretary, and asking her to add same to her comfort.
As to the other chairs, I would request you to kindly accept them as a token of my best regard for you.
