My dear Miss Cook:
Dr. Stearns has unexpectedly left town for a few days and has asked me to acknowledge the receipt of and to thank you for your note of June 19 and also for the catalogue of Dana Hall, which was received this morning.
Dr. Stearns also asked me to say that recent developments in the situation have brought about a change in the plans for Miss Tsai, for whom he is guardian, and it now seems unlikely that he will be able to place her at Dana Hall. He is grateful to you for your cooperation and is glad to have your catalogue for future reference.
Very truly yours,
Secretary to Dr. Stearns
