Dear Sister Mary Anthony:
Dr. Stearns has just left town for the summer and has asked me to forward the enclosed application for the admission of his ward, Miss Helen Tsai, to Saint Mary's School next fall. We are unable at the present moment to supply the physician's certificate, but will do so before Miss Tsai enrolls with you. She has been in this country two years and has been in perfect health during that period.
In case you should wish to communicate with Dr. Stearns personally his address for the summer will be Home Camp, First Connecticut Lake, Pittsburgh, New Hampshire. If his secretaries can be of service, please let us know. I shall be away during July, but a letter addressed to Miss E. Rosamond Greenwood, Phillips Academy, Andover, will receive Miss Greenwoods careful attention.
Will you please send us another copy of "Regulations for Dress" in order that we may send one to McCreery's and have one for reference here.
We do not find among your enclosures a calendar for next year, so would ask for one of these also.
Very truly yours,
Secretary to Dr. Stearns
We are sending the school record blank to the Whittier School in Merrimac, where Miss Tsai has been a pupil for the last two years.
