My dear Sir:
Mr. Newton has asked me to write you that Dr. Stearns has delayed his return to Andover for several days, and therefore cannot send the money you need. Mr. Sawyer has asked Mr. Hinman to see that you have enough to bring you back to Andover. By the time you get here Dr. Stearns will have returned also, and your plans for the next week or two can be made by him.
