My dear Tsai:
Thank you for your letter and the accompanying receipt. I am glad that you have found a good place to get your suit, and I hope your friend is advising you wisely.
I intend to send your father a statement of your account to date covering everything up to January first. The account is not yet running short by any means, though I am afraid that because of increasingly high prices we shall not be able to keep it within the limits which were discussed by Mr. Liang and myself when you first arrived.
With the season's greetings and the best of wishes for the New Year, believe me always
Very sincerely yours,
Mr. K.F. Tsai
