Mr. Alfred E.Stearns,
Andover, Mass.
Dear Sir:-
Replying to your letter of the 1st, we are afraid that perhaps we did not make our previous fetter entirely clear.
The shoes that Mr. Tsai ordered were not delivered to him by our representative. The order was forwarded to us and we’re holding aside the selection for we note that you do not approve of his “indulging in a pair of shoes to the extent of $14.95.”
While we would like to forward the shoes, we do not wish to do anything that does not meet with your entire approval, and should you prefer that wed© not fill the order, we will of course comply with your wishes.
Won’t you let us hear from you?
Respectfully
