Dear Dr. Stearns:
On march 22 I wrote you about the plan for Kuo Fang’s future studies, and presume you have received that letter. I trust you will agree with in preparing him for a business school instead of putting him in the university,
I am sending you herewith enclosed a draft on New York No.23/295, dated April 23, 1923, first bill of exchange, for $500.00 for Kuo Fang’s allowance. The regular allowance will be sent to you again in August.
