Mr. John H. Manning,
Porter Road
Andover, Mass.

Dear Mr.Manning:

Thank you for your note about Yang. Evidently we are to have two new orientals this year, which will keep the delegation fairly even. I hope that your protégé will justify your ambitions for him and prove a good Andover boy and later a good Andover product.

Mr. Lynde can tell better than I what the prospects are for fitting him in, though if you are willing to take care of him temporarily, in case a room has not already been assigned, I see no reason why we should not at least give the lad a tryout.

Hoping to get something more than a passing glimpse of you in the near future, and assuring you that I am in the best of shape to hammer your shoulders at the next Andover-Exeter game, believe always,

Sincerely yours,
