My dear Dr. Steams:
Ever since I entered Hamilton College, I was hoping that you would come here some Sunday to preach in our chapel, so that I might have the opportunity of seeing you again. I am still hoping that you will come in the future.
I was asked the other day to write you to find out the names of all the men in School who are A planning to enter Hamilton. I would be very much obliged to receive from you a list of the names of them with their respective classes.
I am
Sincerely yours,
