Typed letter from the assistant to the principal of Phillips Academy to T. Kai Liang informing Liang that he has received the application for admittance of Yueh Hsien Tseng. Inquires as to when Tseng will be arriving in the country and informing Liang that it would be advantageous for Tseng to obtain any definite credits towards college admission before starting at the school.

My dear Liang:

I have your letter of March 17, enclosing a preliminary application for the admission of your friend, Yueh Hsien Tseng, to Phillips Academy next September if this boy will be in a position to obtain any definite credits toward college admission before entering the Academy, he ought to do so. How soon do you expect him to arrive in this country? If it proves desirable for him to take college examinations of any kind before the opening of the next school year, it is to his advantage to make the preparation and be able to take them.
