dear Mr, Lynde:
In reply to your letter of July 21, I beg to tell you that my brother-in-law has decided to enter - Phillips Academy this Fall, and that he wishes to make definite application for admittance.
As for his standing at the Stearns School, I have asked Mr. Stearns to send you a copy of his record, Meantime I shall be much oblidged to receive an application blank from you.
