Dear Sir:

At the request of your father, from whom I have just received a letter, I am mailing you a copy of our catalogue in the back of which you will find an application form. Your father tells me that you are to enter this school in September in order to complete your preparation for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. We shall be glad to welcome you; and I trust that you will feel perfectly free to call on me for any information or help needed to enable you to complete in as satisfactory a way as possible your plans for admission. Your application and the school testimonial should be sent in at once, since our list for the coming year is already practically full.

Very sincerely yours,
