Dear Dr. Sterns,
May I ask you to let Miss Helen Tsai to be present at my wedding on Nov. 29? She said that she will come if you permit her to do it. We are very good friends, so I do need her to be my bridemaid and she also cares to see my wedding ceremony. If you can look after her to the train and tell her to notify me about her leaving I will meet her in the station of Syracuse and take care of her.
I wish you would grant your consent.
Truly yours,
(Miss) Joan Y. Hsu.
