My dear Mr. Corwin:
Mr. Sinley Kong Yuen Chang has sent us the correspondence which has passed between you and him with reference to the College Board English Examination he took last month. We shall be glad to do anything that we can to assist the boy in getting credit for what is always a difficult subject for the Chinese students. As he did not complete with us the work which regularly prepares a boy for the College Board Comprehensive Examination in English we cannot, at this time, give him a formal recommendation. I understand that the boy is taking work in English at Long Lake Lodge. So will be very glad to countenance any recommendation that Mr. Spencer sees fit to make.
Very truly yours
Assistant to the Principal.
