Mr. Sinley Kong Yuen Chang,
Long Lake Lodge
North Bridgton, Maine

My dear Chang:

Dr. Stearns has forwarded to me your letter of July 19 with regard to your College Board Examination in English. In as much as you did not take our courage in Senior English, nor pass the course which you took in Upper Middle English, we obviously cannot give you a formal recommendation for the Comprehensive Examination in English at this time. If your work this summer at Long Lake Lodge permits the Lodge to recommend you for that examination, we will be glad to sanction it. I hope that this may meet your needs.

I am returning Mr. Corwin’s letter.

Very truly yours
