My dear Chang:
I notice that a room is being held for you, provisionally, at Mr. L. C. Newton’s. I am wondering how soon you can advice us as to whether you will occupy this room for the approaching year or not. We are, of course, willing to hold the room as long as necessary but esteem it a favor if you will notify us just as soon as possible whether you are to be with us or not.

Very sincerely yours
