My dear Chang:

I thank you for your letter of the 31st. We do not wish to hurry you unduly in the matter of your decision about college for the approaching year. We are entirely willing to hold you room until September 20th, or a few days longer if necessary. We feel sure that your understanding of the situation will lead you to notify us of your final decision at the earliest possible moment.
