My dear Mr. Chang:
Let me send you this brief note merely to acknowledge receipt of your letter of September 29th. I wrote you only yesterday, so that I imagine that you will receive the two letters at practically the same time.
I note your wishes in regard to the deposit of $1,000.00 already made in your son’s behalf and I will consequently hold the amount in question on deposit here until I receive further instructions from you.
