Description
Typed letter from Dr. Alfred E. Stearns to M.E. Sentelle detailing how the school no longer has records of C.K. Chien's transcript from the Tsing Hua school. Speculates that Chien may have taken the records with him, and if not, promises that the school will look more thoroughly for the documents.

My dear Dr.Sentelle:
I have your letter inquiring about the Tsing Hua credits of Mr. C.K.Chien who was with us last year. Documents of this kind are regularly filed with the correspondence of the boy concerned, but I find no trace of our files of the document in question. I am wondering, therefore, if the boy, himself, did not take it, either when he withdrew from school or at some earlier date. We frequently find that this has happened and that the boys concerned have forgotten until reminded of this possibility, just what actually occurred. If Mr. Chien has no recollection of taking into document, we will make further research for it here.
Sincerely yours.
