Dear Helen:
Many thanks for year letter advising of the last reports from
My. Bateman with the evidence that he is still interested in trying to locate your missing bag. I very much fear, however, that he will not find it at this late date.
I am just leaving town for Emira, New York, where I hope to see Mary Sun on Sunday. I haven’t seen her since about the time she left Merrimac last June.
Trusting that your work will continue to go well for you and that you will keep in the best of health and spirits, believe me
Very sincerely yours.
