Dear Dr. Stearns:
Yours of the 28th inst received and am quite pleased to learn that the boys like your academy so much, however, I will leave you have a free hand in deciding whether you wish to keep the others two boys or send them to either one of the schools mentioned in your letter. You may use your own judgment in this matter and then explain to the boys what you think is boat for I am writing by same mail telling them that I have given you a free hand. You may act immediately.
