My dear Mr, Loomis:
The father of one of our students has just telegraphed me from Hong Kong, China that he wishes his son Ting Mai Liang to enter your institution in September, The boy had intended to go to the Rensselaer Polytechnique Institution, He was a student in Phillips Academy for the academic year 1917 and 18, I enclose a record of the work which he did here, He is honorably dismissed from us.
He came to us from the Army and Navy preparatory school in Washington, D, C, and was already credited at Rensselaer with the following work when he came to us.
