My dear Chen:
I have your letter of July 17th. Nr. Stearns is not in the office now. I have cancelled the room assigned you in Andover Cottage.
We will be very glad to have you come back to us if that seems the wise thing to do. Of course, we cannot guarantee a room for you, but in all probability a place can be found. I think you need not worry about that. I hope you will be able to get in, as you propose.
Very truly yours,
Mr.S.S.Chen
