My dear Mr. Van:
Thank you for your very kind letter received this morning. I am glad for your sake and for all those concerned that your brother’s body has safely reached your home in China. You all must feel a certain relief in the knowledge that this is so.
With kindest personal regards and trusting that I may yet have a chance to see you again before you leave the country, believe me,
Very sincerely yours,
Principal.
