Dear Sir,
Mr. Chuan Yuan Hsu, has filed an application for a room in our new Association building, giving you as one of his references. We greatly desire to have these rooms occupied by young men of absolutely clean character, and whose influence in the home life of the Association will be in every way wholesome; also by young men who will enter into the activities, and, if possible, the volunteer service of the Association.
Will you kindly let me have by early mail your frank opinion of Mr. C.Y. Hsu, along these lines, stating anything additional that you feel would be of value to us.
Thanking you for this favor, I am,
Sincerely yours,
House Secretary.
