My dear Sun:-
Your letter of March 4th came during my absence from Andover, and hence the check was not sent at that time, as requested. Your second letter reached me this morning. I enclose check herewith, also form of receipt, which I shall be glad to have you sign and return promptly. Please excuses this delay, but I have had to be away from Andover so much last year that it has been difficult for me to attend to matters of this kind promptly.
Trusting that your work continues to go well, and with good wishes, as always, believe me,
Very sincerely yours,
