My dear Mr. Sun:
I want to take this opportunity to thank you most heartily for your promise of $2.00 toward the promotion of the Student Association work in the colleges. Our friends making their gifts payable during the summer months help us greatly, because we always seek to keep our income as close to our expenditures as possible, thus avoiding heavy overdrafts on which interest has to be paid.
No definite date was set for the payment of your gift, and we are assuming, therefore, that it will be convenient for you to send it now. A stamped envelope is enclosed for your convenience. will you please make your remittance payable to "F.B. Schenck, Treasurer.”
