My dear Tommy:
Here is that Burke bill which the Legal Process Co. have been trying to collect, after having tacked on their commission to it. I have taken the matter up with Burke & Company and learn from them that they have repeatedly tried to collect the bill, but without success. So far as I know this is the first time the matter has ever been called to my attention. I must either infer, therefore, that the account is incorrect, or that you have been extremely careless in overlooking it. If the account is right will you please C. K. the bill and return it to me at once, so that we may have no further trouble in the matter.
Faithfully yours,
