Dear Tommy:

Your note has just been received and I am inclosing checks as follows: Walter H. Perry, Manager, $6.; R.C. Weyle, $5.

On referring to my statement of your account I find that I paid Mr. C.H. George, Manager, on June 22d a bill of $17.50 covering room rent from May 13th to June 17th. Nothing seems to have been paid by me beyond that date; consequently if you roomed at Kent Hall until June 26th, as this bill seems to indicate, the statement made by Mr. Perry, and confirmed by the bill in question, is undoubtedly correct, unless, of course, you paid the account in person, which 1 judge is unlikely.

Please secure from Mr. Weyle the proper receipt for the $5. and return both receipts to me promptly in the inclosed envelope. I have not Mr. Weyle’s bill, and as I have always kept receipts for indi¬vidual checks sent out, it is important that 1 should have his receipt in this case.

Faithfully yours,
