My dear Tommy:

Luck is with us, and I am able to round out the sixty dollars for which you asked, and indeed to do even a little better than that. This morning I have received the enclosed check from the Bursar at Yale, and for the purpose set forth on the accompanying memorandum, I have made the check over to you, as I have already closed up your account here, barring, as I have explained, the loan still held at the bank.
