My dear Tommy:
Thanks for your good letter. It is good to see your handwriting again and to get a word of greeting from you. I wish I knew a little more about your actual work and how you are getting on in your classes. Let me have that information next time if it isn’t too much trouble.
If you are ever up this way be sure to come and see us. I fear that there will be little chance for visitors at the Lake this summer, for I understand that the Lodge is not to be opened. I hope to go up there for a short vacation, though I cannot say whether it will be possible to put in much of a summer in that inspiring place.
