Mr. John Morrison,
Boston, Mass
Dear Sir:
Since my letter to you of the 2nd inst. You boy’s case has come before us for more careful consideration, and we find that owing to an excessive schedule and its rather unfortunate, though necessary, arrangement in the matter of the destruction of hours, we have perhaps been a little too exacting in our demands upon the boy. Consequently it has seemed fair to revise this schedule somewhat, and in the meantime not to deprive the boy of the privilege of excuses, as we had at first deemed it wise to de.
I trust that this slight readjustment may prove all that is necessary to improve the situation.
Very truly yours.
