9 March, 1908,
Principal G.W. Bingham,
Pinkerton Academy,
Derry, N. H.
My dear Mr. Bingham:
Mr. Kwan, of whom you inquire, is now a member of our school community. He arrived during my absence in the West, and hence I have seen little of him until within the past few week. He has not been at all well, which 1 think accounts in a measure for his seeming failure to adapt himself to conditions quite so well as our other Chinese boys have done. If he recovers his health, he will probably recover his spirits also. His present address is #49 Salem Street, Andover.
Very sincerely yours,
Principal G.W. Bingham,
Pinkerton Academy,
Derry, N. H.
