Dear Alfred:
I have mailed you this morning a check for $5.00, for I am sure that you ought to make the purchases in question. I can’t very well tell just what you require, and, when it comes to hair oil, I might buy kerosene by mistake. It will be much safer to do the job yourself.
Faithfully yours,
