Mr. Stearns:
Dear Sir;
Excuse me for imposing up on your time and patience. I last year while at Powder Point School aquired [sic]the friendship of Mr. Sun Fayuen. I kept up Coraspondance [sic] with him for sum [sic] time during the summer. His last letter to me failed to state his adress [sic]. I will thank you very much if you will send me his present adress [sic].
It was by dictateing [sic] letters to him that I learned you were his guardean Hoping to hear from you soon I remain;
Your sincearly [sic],
            Dear Sir;
