Mr. Sun Fayuen,
Cambridge, Mass.

My dear Fayuen:

I have your letter of the 18th inst. Mr.Tong’s instructions to me were to give each of you boys one hundred dollars for the extra summer expenses., and I have already done so. The regular bills for your board, tutoring, etc. are to be sent to me, as usual. AT least I have no instructions to indicate otherwise. From Mr.Tong’s letter I infer that the hundred dollars grandted you was to xxx such expenses as traveling, etc. in connection with such trips as you might xx to take. This is the arrangement that I am making with your brother, and I would not feel justified in xx it your case without definite instructions from Mr. Tong. The bill for your brother’s camp expenses is to be sent to me, and will be paid by me.

Very truly yours.
