My dear Sun:
I enclose herewith check for $10, for your October allowance. Please sign and return the accompanying receipt.
I am still waiting for further information from Nichols Academy. I wrote them after my talk with you, but have received no reply. A school-master, within whom I talked recently, tells me that he has heard that the school was given up a year or two ago, possibly this accounts for my delay in receiving an answer to my letter. If no news comes within the next day or two I am inclined to think that we shall have to look for another school.
