In discussing the case recently I found that there was general agreement among the boy's instructors that he needs, for the present at least, the environment and stimulus of a smaller school where he will receive personal and intimate guidance in his studies. A year in a school of this kind would perhaps fit the boy to meet the requirements of a large school like Philipps Academy. We have frequently recommended this plan for boys in similar circumstances in the past, and generally with excellent results. In advising strongly that this course be adopted in the case of Mr. Liang we are hopeful that after a year passed in this way the boy will be able to return to Andover and complete his work here with credit.
