I might incidentally state that I am a son- in-law of Mrs. Mitchell. I know that it is the intention of John Mitchell to enter Phillips this coming Fall; although I am not sufficiently conversant with the matter to fill out his application or give you any detailed information as to the class which he desires to enter nor the course which he will pursue. Mrs. Mitchell and her son sail from Liverpool on September 7th and will reach Boston probably about September 15th.
