Please pardon my delay in acknowledging same. Extended absence from the city and other duties have interfered with more prompt attention to this matter. I assure you that I am deeply interested in this great work. I wish to endorse it most heartily. The idea of securing a fund to rebuild two memorial high schools in France strikes me as being a very fortunate one.
