The fact is that I have had so much on my mind since my arrival last Friday that the omission remained quite unnoticed until the present time. Did I not think that the matter which we wished to bring to your attention would prove of interest to you, I would not trouble you to come in. It is with reference to some writing, which we think possibly you may be in position to do for us and which would be mutually profitable. It is not a matter that can be gone into at any length in a letter, and therefore I will defer its discussion, hoping to have the pleasure of meeting you at our Office at an early date.
