Frankly, I am sure that your father would not be at all enthusiastic about a summer spent wholly in traveling about, valuable as it would unquestionably be for you to see same thing of this big country. Further, I can’t believe that a car is necessary merely to cover the periods between the close of college and a summer school session and the close of that session and the opening of the next college year, “the world has changed mightily if this is true, and while I know that it has changed some, I am sure that it has not changed to quite that extent as yet.
